Email Love includes an "Export to Klaviyo" option that uses the Klaviyo API to upload your email template seamlessly into your Klaviyo account.
Exporting your email to Klaviyo
The Export feature in the Email Love Figma plugin lets you easily convert your email design into email-friendly HTML or MJML, or directly export it to Klaviyo.
Follow these steps to upload your email design to your Klaviyo account:
- Ensure that your email design is finalized and ready for export, then click on the frame you want to export to ensure it is selected.
- Click the Export button located in the top right corner of the Plugin interface.
- On the Export page, select “Klaviyo” from the dropdown menu.
- If you have not added your Klaviyo API key, click “Change API Key.”
- Login to your Klaviyo Account and navigate to Settings> Account > API Keys.
- Click the “Create Private API Key” button.
- Give your API key a name (e.g., "Email Love Integration") and set the appropriate scopes (must include Templates: Read/Write).
- Copy and paste your API key into the “Klaviyo API Key” box in the Email Love Figma Plugin. Click the “Set API Key” button.
- Click the “Export to Klaviyo” button at the top of the plugin.
- Navigate back to Content > Templates in Klaviyo to find your email.
