Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have:- A Salesforce account with access to Pardot / Account Engagement
- A Salesforce Connected App with its Consumer Key and Consumer Secret
- Your Pardot Business Unit ID (found in Salesforce under Setup, then Pardot Account Setup)
- Your Salesforce username and password, plus your security token
- The Email Love Figma plugin installed
- At least one email designed in Figma using the plugin

Connect Your Salesforce Account
- Open Figma and select your email frame
- Launch the Email Love plugin and click the blue Export button
- From the dropdown menu, select Salesforce Pardot
- Enter your Salesforce Domain (your My Domain URL, starting with
https://) - Enter the Connected App’s Consumer Key and Consumer Secret
- Enter your Business Unit ID
- Enter your Salesforce Username and Password
- Give this connection a name and click Set API Key

Export Your Email Template
- With your email frame selected, click the blue Export button
- Select Salesforce Pardot from the dropdown
- Click Export
- You’ll see a success message when the upload is finished

Access Your Template in Pardot
Your exported design appears in your Pardot email templates, ready to use in Engagement Studio programs and list emails.
Updatable Templates
The Pardot integration supports updating in place:- Toggle off (default): every export creates a new email template.
- Toggle on: enable Updatable Templates in the export settings and re-exports update the same Pardot template instead of creating duplicates.
